  • Profile: A trilingual leader (Arabic, French, English) Operating in Morocco, Africa and Internationally.

     Soumia Lahmidi is the Founder and CEO of Profinance AAS, a boutique professional services firm providing Audit & Assurance, Tax & Legal, and Advisory services. Through Profinance AAS, she supports organizations in navigating complex business environments by leveraging the power of technologies, processes, and talent to drive transformation and sustainable growth.

     Prior to founding Profinance AAS, Soumia held multiple senior leadership roles at the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), where she led mega Finance & Business Transformation initiatives, including global ERP implementation programs, establishment of Global Portfolio Governance Frameworks and Project Lifecycle Blueprint Implementation. She managed Strategic Transformation Portfolios, driving simplification, digitalization, standardization, and automation across business functions and continents.

     Earlier in her career, Soumia served as Portfolio Manager at Thomson Reuters, where she led enterprise-wide governance and change management initiatives for tax and regulatory programs. She also held key leadership roles as Area Controller for the Middle East and Africa region, overseeing finance operations, regulatory compliance, and cross-border financial governance across multiple jurisdictions.

     Soumia Lahmidi began her career in audit and financial services with Fidumac in Morocco and later served as Financial Controller at Marsh & McLennan Companies in London, where she led Finance Transformation and Controllership Transition projects within a multinational environment. In addition to her corporate career, Soumia has contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Université Internationale de Casablanca, supporting the development of future Finance Professionals.

     Soumia Lahmidi holds the prestigious FCCA designation and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Her academic background includes advanced studies in accounting, finance, and legal and financial engineering from institutions including Université de Rennes I, ACADEMIE DE BORDEAUX, and the London School of Business and Finance LSBF. She has also completed executive development programs through Harvard Business School and obtain AI+ Chief AI Officer.
